WHIP OFF

One of the most popular events in the schedule, this year our Whip Off will have an Amateur and Pro category. The Amateur category will utilise the final jump on South Crescent and will be suitable for strong intermediate riders, while the invite only Pro category will be hosted on a custom, huge whip off jump.

CAPTURE PHOTOGRAPHY COMPETITION

Capture is our bike park photography competition. We will invite 5 photographers to enter the competition, with each photographer then having 72 hours to shoot and edit before presenting their work to our Gravity Fest audience. The photographers will use their unique style to create a slideshow, telling a story about mountain biking in Tasmania.

Photographers are able to shoot anywhere in Tasmania, but will be completely self-sufficient through that time. They will receive $500 upon entry to help create their slide show, and will compete for a $1,000 cash prize.

Slide show length – 5 min
